I'm so busy here. Yesterday I had a physics lab from 3:30 to 6:30, so I got up at 7 to work out. I was falling asleep in math, which is way too long at an hour and fifteen minutes. The weather has been really nice, but it looks rainy this morning. This morning I also got up to work out because I had to make up a workout that was supposed to be done ( Read more... )

What are you a 2-time state champion in? If you haven't already done so, call a coach immediately. Yale is honestly the best school in the country. It is so much more fun than Harvard, I'm not sure why anybody would have chosen that school other than the name. I'm really not sure what it takes exactly, because college admissions are somewhat random. Definitely contact the coach, though, and set up a visit. Diversity also helps.

i couldn't even begin to tell you how awesome it is, but i will try. on saturday i woke up early for a 7am crew practice, then went to an awesome brunch at pierson (one of the colleges) then headed to the game. many of the residential colleges, frats, and sports teams have tailgates. it was a lot of fun. after that, we went back to campus (there are shuttle busses) and went shopping. that night, we had the volleyball game (the women's team is very hot and pretty good) and then there was a happy hour hosted by my college (stiles). this school has a ton of money that it throws around in the form of t-shirts, study breaks with food, and waterford crystal chandeliers in one of the colleges. but there was then an 80's party on saturday night, so everybody got dressed up in 80's-style clothing and partied. it was a lot of fun, ending in yorkside pizza at 2am. its also beautiful here.
