Cool premise, and nicely done. I especially liked the poor boys with the singing curse. *snickers* I really wish TPTB would inflict a fun, amusing curse like this on the boys sometime onscreen.

And yay for the last section, a happy ending for the boys and their family. :)

Favorite lines:

Dad said the word as if it were a door closing, subject over.

Good description.

“There’re ghosts and werewolves everywhere aren’t there? Couldn’t we stay in one place and keep that area safe?”

Actually, that’s good logic, and I don’t blame Sam for bringing it up. Of course John isn’t about to take him up on it, but still …

Dean didn’t get that: the world was only the car, and the two other people in it,

Oh, Dean.

Sound interested. Sound like you’re saying, he’ll get a new book or a trip to the library or some new pens or whatever else yanks your chain.”

*snickers*

“Annie?” Dean repeated, perplexed. He cast his eyes down quickly. He still had his cock, thank fuck for that.

Dean knows what’s important. *nods sagely*

he slammed it ( ... )

Thank you SO for reading and for picking out lines. You are TOO kind!

Hee, esp at liking the logic that there are demons everywher, so why not keep one area safe?! I am on Sam's side in that one ;)

Thank you so for the comment.

Oh, that was lovely. The first section was fantastic, desperate measures on road trips, perfectly understandable.

I love how Dean tries to help Sam learn the lyrics for Grease, too sweet.

The curse is so funny and I love how you get their feelings across even though they're speaking in lyrics.

"Wanted, Dead or Alive" is a lot harder for me to listen to ever since the finale. Gah!

And the last one is lovely. Aw, Dean freaking out over Mary falling, Mary choosing that song and they all sing again. Love the deflection from the scar question.

Great job!

Thank you so for commenting on each section - esp that the 'singing curse' section reflected their feelings as that was a tough bit to do! Thank you SO I appreciate it! :)

*sniffle*

This is funny and sweet and heartbreaking all at once. I'm so glad you had that last section to round it out and ease the pain of the fourth section.

Thank you so much I am so happy you enjoyed. Esp glad the last section worked for you (I wanted to round it out, back to a similar situation to the start...). I appreciate the comment a lot!

i love how it comes back to the beginning, with the long drive and the pouting kid in the back seat and the ten green bottles song and the feeling of rightness with three winchesters in the impala. i also like the retelling of no rest for the wicked, and the section with the witch and the song lyrics is clever and inspired and kind of sad - sam wanting to talk about john's death and its effect on dean, and dean reallyreallyreally not wanting to - and dean trying to help sam understand greased lightning so he can try out for grease is completely adorable. i love that dean is saving up ammo to mock sam with later at the same time he's really genuinely trying to be a good brother. the undercurrent of sam wanting to go to college, and dean knowing sam wants to go to college without sam having to say it, is also really good.

and, y'know, you got dean out of hell. :D and gave him a daughter, good lord. wait until she hits puberty and boys come calling. O.O and of course she's a tough little kid. heh.

Thank you SO much the lovely and detailed comment! I am glad that the song lyrics section worked (as it was hard to do, and I feared it would work only in my head!). And hee, Dean always wants to mock at the same time as being a good brother, I think.

Lord, Dean would be a nightmare to boys trying to date his girl ;)
