I've made a pot of tomato florentine soup and an Italian picnic salad to take as my contribution to the festivities. Since Virginia is hosting, we can pretty much count on the double feature being British WWII movies.

Is that made with milk or cream?
Tomato, especially tomato bisque, is my all-time favorite soup!
That's because my mom used to make tomato soup from home canned tomatoes and fresh, raw milk, with butter, and salt-and-pepper.
That was back in the late 50s.
