I did it out of college, too! And it was, indeed, awesome. I did NCCC and I was stationed in the South East region. What did you do?

VISTA! :-D I was in the Northwest.

Worked with the Educational Service District, servicing low income/ high risk students in inner city/ outlying smaller school districts. I had the time of my life, it stands as one of my most rewarding experiences.

I'm bummed by prop 8, too. On the plus side, though, we'll fight back. It's not over until we give up.

There's a lot of things I want him to do. Unfortunately, there's a lot of shit he's going to have to wade through before he gets to do anything really awesome. Stupid financial crisis. Grrr.

what a good, glorious day for America. And a hell of a day for Chicago. The city was spectacularly pretty last night. Warm, too. And the people were calm and happy.

There's some hope on prop 8: http://www.boxturtlebulletin.com/2008/11/05/5907

A boy can hope, right?

That is hopeful. I really hope they count all those ballots and that they turn in our favor.

Also, somewhere on the hill in the back of the picture is me.

I suspect Lexi had much better "seats" She might have actually had a seat.

Not that it wasn't fantastic. I'm so giddy that I got to go.
