If we're going through things and getting rid of pointless stuff, can we get rid of No Child Left Behind?  Cause it is more than a little stupid and pointless.

YES YES YES to basically your entire post. Especially "my friends." I actually said that out loud during the debate - you are NOT my friend, John McCain.

Loved the Straight Talk Express line. LOL.

McCain sounds old. Old as in going to keel over any moment on stage. Is it just me or did anyone else think that?

I thought that too! He sounded old, and he looked old. There was characteristic senility in his gestures - the way he walked across the stage, the way his hands shook slightly as he held his mic, and the creakiness of his voice. Which is another reason why we can't afford to elect him; the idea of Sarah Palin as president gives me nightmares.

Every time McCain thought he had a good answer, he got this look on his face like he was about to piss on himself and enjoy it. That was enough to keep me entertained through the debate.
