ETA: Like amazonqueenkate said, your Chekov and Pike voices were made of love. Granted, I'm wondering if there was a Pike/Kirk vibe going on, but it was very sweet that they went out together, and that Chekhov was all, "Yeah, these people suck."

And I absolutely agree with Chekhov that 'Monty' isn't Scotty's nickname. It's Scotty! <3

There was a Pike/Kirk vibe going! I forgot to mark it! Whoops. I wanted the worst nickname ever for Scotty, and 'Monty' is perfect. I simply cannot imagine him answering to any variation on it, so it worked perfectly for what I wanted to do. I'm glad you liked it, and thanks so much for circling back for feedback. You're a doll.

It's strange to think of Pike/Kirk? I'd have to read fic that can convince me of the pairing, since I keep thinking that Pike would be more interested in someone less prone to bar fights? Granted, he's a calmer version of Kirk, so I guess I end up thinking of the two of them as a student/mentor relationship instead of a romantic one, but that's me. *^^*

Aww, aren't you sweet? I could really hear Pike and Chekov in my head as well, which explains the awesomeness of that. For some reason, it's Kirk who's hardest to write for me. He's a goof sometimes, but there's a really strong, serious side to him, and the balance gets weird. Kind of like Scotty, actually.
