jigsaws..

anyone know if there is a name of the bits that connect jigsaw pieces together - I've been trying to find out for a few days and my Googlefu isn't strong enough.

There's a suggestion of nubs and voids as being in at least semi-formalised use.

Wikipedia calls them tabs and blanks, but it is Wikipedia so... (Seems reasonable to me though.)

My googling leads me to the connection being referred to as a "jigsaw puzzle interlock"

As far as I know they are called "pieces" but try this site.
