Amanda looks to be extremely attractive, though I'm not familiar with her at all. (Highlander is one of those oldschool fan shows that I keep meaning to go back and watch sometime, but haven't yet.)

I recommend Highlander, though it's--like Stargate--one of those shows that can be objectively sort of terrible. I solve this by only watching episodes with Methos in them (who is my favorite and who in addition to being awesome on his own, has exceptional chemistry with the main character). You could try the same approach but start with the first Amanda ep instead. XD

Exceptional chemistry? Damn right- there's numerous scenes where you just know they're going to go back to Duncan's place and have monkey-sex.

Also, Methos acts out of character on a number of occasions, just for Duncan. :D
