I get stupid excited whenever I see that you've posted anything new, because you've quickly become one of my most favourite authors in fandom and, really, outside of it. You write so well and so - I don't know - engagingly, sympathetically, that I'm always stunned by it, drawn right into whatever world you've created by the end of the first scene. Your pacing is perfect, the depth of feeling is just so superbly evoked. You are so good. I always want to leave you some epic comment that actually expresses all the things I feel about your fic, but I just can't. YOU ARE SO GOOD. AAAAAAAAH.

I was excited to read this because, well, it's you and that's enough. But it's small town perfect and not many people get that feeling right. The history from Jensen's POV, the memories especially, feel like they took place in my high school, with people I know and sat next to every day. This is the world in which I live (without the HEA and the OTP, of course) and the way you write it makes it feel as beautiful as it is heartbreaking.

There were other glompier things I was going to say, but now I just want to wrap up in a blanket and read it all over again. ♥

Thank you Thank you!! I was actually really worried about getting the high school stuff right but those ended up being the easiest parts to write for some reason. Probably my immaturity finally paying off, yay!

Like I already said, gorgeous! every single line. ♥ LOVE the back stories and reading exactly when Jensen fell in love with Jared, that was so good, so beautifully done as was them finally admitting to loving each other. Great build-up, so happy making! I could read this over and over again. ♥ Wow.

Sigh. That was so heart pleasing. Lovely pacing. Adored the Jensen flashback scenes. And both their epiphany moments. And Seb and Misha! You had Seb down perfectly. I could hear him speaking in my head. Such fun. Liked the twist of the sex coming first. Interesting and male-feeling spin.

Thank you so much (saw yours go up today, eeee-cant' wait). I'm glad you liked the flashback scenes and how could I resist Seb and Misha? They were fun to drop in. I sort of liked working backward on the sexual aspect of the relationship, too, from full-on sex to making out to a simple kiss. I'm happy you liked it.
