Awwwww...

How sad am I that I just NOW found this? :)

Great one anyways... I just love backstory fics.

Don't feel bad about missing it! I posted it on bjfic.net last year, but at the time I was hardly using lj at all and I never thought to post it here. I only recently figured out how to backdate entries, and I added this to my lj because I wanted to have all of my stories here. But, really, even though I wrote the story last May, I only added it to lj within the last couple of weeks.

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

P.S. Did you see the Justin-backstory fic I just posted a week or so ago, Awakening?

I had better things to do that night.

Awww, he's so schmoopy. And he's right! This was great :-)

Here from retread.

OK, I hate romance and love and tenderness and all that stuff. So why the hell did I FUCKING LOVE THIS?

OK, I don't really hate romance and love and tenderness. Obviously. I must think about this.

Anyway, I take my duty of giving love to authors whose work I really like, because otherwise, you might stop writing and then I'd die. So please have lots of love! Off to read the others now. :)

I'm not big on anything overly schmoopy, either, but I didn't think this really was, because Brian is *thinking* these things -- I could never imagine him saying them.

Pointed here by qaf_retread and delighted to have been sent.

This is a gorgeous pair of vignettes from two points of view that really nail something Brian and Justin would see very differently. Justin understands Brian's pov, even if he might not agree. Brian's take on the situation, however, is perfection. Thank you for this.
