In researching images for an upcoming Footloose theme party I'm helping to throw for my sister, I came across a review site with lots of great movie stills plus the best line ever written about the movie Footloose:

Why is it so hard to find an online yule log? Not yule log screensaver, not youtube video of a yule log, but a regular ol' web page with a burning log on it.

I found exactly one online yule log. It's OK, but it's not nearly big enough. I guess varying screen sizes prevent the kind of yule log web page I have in mind ( Read more... )

Our friends told us the story of the time they watched Momento. It being all disjointed in terms of time, they didn't think much of it when things started repeating. The movie went on & on and didn't seem to be going anywhere and they started thinking the movie was a bit too artsy or deep for them, or that it just sucked ( Read more... )

I've been trying to figure out why there's been a helicopter hovering near my house for the past hour. Turns out there's a fire on the Apple campusNo details yet on the intarweb. I can't smell any smoke even though it's less than a mile from here. Hopefully it's a small fire already out and just a persistent news helicopter trying to get more shots ( Read more... )
