My ECG results were normal. If compared with my last ECG you wouldn't believe how different they were! The first ones were something to worry about as they were right on the borderline of being a problem ( Read more... )

Hm. I agree with Kevin. Hopefully getting away for a while will help your stress levels too.

Yes, I will go back if I notice the same sorts of things going on. The problem with this (and I found out tonight that it is fairly common) is that the pausing before a beat can be caused by caffeine, artificial sweetners, menopause, hypothyroid and cold/allergy medication and other things so it can be hard to diagnose and can go away as soon as it came on.

I was shocked at how good it looked compared with the first ECG in October! It was perfect! Luckily, I got a nurse who is really nice and who relaxes me. She even gave me a copy of the ECG to keep.

I think I might have been right on when I initially thought it was the allergy medication they put me on earlier. I really do.

I TOLD you I was an overachiever. ;-)

I'm glad the results were normal. I hope it clears up, but at least it's reassuring she says it isn't anything to worry about at this point.
