Hallelujah. The last couple of days have been a real writerly disaster for me, but I think I've got most of the heavy lifting out of the way. I'm on the downhill run now, guys, but realistically I'm still a couple days from having this crap hammered into any state of beta-readiness. If by pending, you mean "possible within the next week or so" then yes. It's pending. I'll have it off to beta by the weekend, and depending on far into the stratosphere it gets slapped (and I should warn you now, I doubt there is any known means of calculating a distance that far) I should only need a day or two to sulk, pull my shit together, edit, then post. That's normally the way it goes.

Rinkle, here is where I confess that I have not watched any free-to-air (or pay tv) for about two years, because I couldn't get decent reception on my crappy little 38cm shitbox. And I didn't really CARE all that much, because who has time for that crap anyway, but when it came up in conversation in the tearoom the other day, someone said: "That's weird. There must be something wrong with your set top box."

Then I asked what a set top box was and I think if you listen carefully you can probably still hear everyone laughing at my dumb technotard ass.
