sorry if the translation isnt that good
What do you do at 7 am?
Bassist Jon: I sleep.
Guitarist Ryan: Yeah, me too. For sure.
Jon: I go to bed between 6 and 7 am so on that point of time we are just sleeping. We don’t party the whole night, but at night life is more fun. The truth is, the sunrise is more beautiful to see than the sunset.
What time do you get up?
Jon: Between 2 and 3 pm
Ryan: I try to get up earlier, between 12 and 1 in the afternoon. But if I’m still tired, I get up later. Somewhere between 12 and 3 in the afternoon.
What do you do first when you get up?
Jon: Getting delicious sandwiches.
Ryan: I take a shower and eat a sandwich, because having breakfast isn’t an option anymore. After a little while, it’s dark again and the evening and the night starts again. There are a lot of other things to do and it’s more fun.
Jon: In Las Vegas it is hot outside, and we like to go out when it’s dark and cool.
So at 8 pm…
Ryan: I’m a little bit awake and fit enough to do something.
Jon: Yeah, then my breakfast, or lunch actually, is consumed. We go outside or to somebody’s home. We don’t go to a club or something like that.
What do you do together?
Jon: We go bowling or we go to the movies. We like to do normal stuff.
Ryan: When we were recording the album, Jon stayed at my house. Back then, we went bowling a lot. I don’t remember who was better, him or me.
Does something happen at 3 am?
Jon: We play guitar
Ryan: 3 at night is a good point of time to lie on the couch and watch a movie or something like that.
Jon: It doesn’t matter where we are, as long as there’s a TV. We watch cartoons, a Disney-movie or a documentary about an artist. It doesn’t matter about who, as long as it is about music, I’m interested.
You don’t get nightmares watching cartoons at night?
Jon: I never have nightmares.
Ryan: I do. I remember dreaming that I was at school again and everything was normal. When I was driving on the highway, there was a really big sea monster that destroyed everything.
Jon: That’s really weird because there is no sea where you went to school!
Ryan: I know, crazy huh? I dreamed about my high school, but suddenly it was in Hawaii.
Jon: That’s weird man.
Ryan: I always have weird dreams.
What do you dream about, Jon?
Jon: When we were in New York with the band, I dreamed that we had to leave the hotel. We had to be evacuated. I was the hero, because I brought all the band members and people who were with us in to safety. I threw the mattress outside from the 30th floor, we jumped on it and we slid down. That was one of the weirdest dreams I ever had. Oh no, I once had a dream where my cats talked to me!
Did you talk back the next morning?
Jon: The next day I kept an eye on them. I thought that they really could hear me. But I think they can’t. At least, not yet, because I think that they are a little nervous to show their true identity.
