I'm a member of the National Cockatiel Society, and every two months we get a magazine - The NCS Journal - compiled by the members, which is full of good information on diet, care, exhibition, breeding, etc. etc. etc. Anyway, I was reading back through some of my old Journals and found an article, written by my breeder, that I really thought was ( Read more... )

This was really interesting, thanks for sharing. I think it really drives home the point of feeding a varied diet of foods that are as natural as possible. Supplements have always kind of made me paranoid and I don't use cuttlebone at all anymore. I feel they're getting enough calcium from the greens and other foods in their diet.
