Poop problems.

Jasper sometimes gets really smelly, clear the room sort of poops. Turns out it's related to what I'm feeding him- some foods just give him stinky poops, including bell peppers and bananas. If everything else is all clear, maybe your guy has a similar issue?

Oh I hope so! I am so nervous.. I hope it's not some infection or yeast infection or something. His vent looks clean when I checked it just now, and THAT doesn't smell. I wondered if the Nutriberries changed his poop.. I don't know, but my Senegal's poops are normal and she's been eating them. This was definitely a "clear the room" type of poop!

Oh and he gets bell peppers and banana too, but he hasn't had any in a few days now.. and the smelly poop has been for the last few days. Maybe from NOT having veggies and stuff for the first time in a while? I'm so at a loss for understanding this. But if there was a poop Olympics, he would so win. I can't believe how far out of the cage the poop goes. It's getting close to hitting my bed which really freaks me out.

Their first poop of the morning can be very large and smelly since they've been holding it for most of the night. But do get it checked out regardless, since it's a change.

As for cleaning the rug, I got a plastic sheet from Staples for putting on a rug and under a rolling chair. Much easier to clean.
