i was cutting my fingernails today, because they were getting quite long and it was getting really difficult to type, which is an occupational hazard, and discovered the skin under my thumb grew with the nail.  needless to say i cut the skin, bled and hurt.  it still hurts.  i guess i won't cut that one short anymore.  not sure why i'm telling this ( Read more... )

Whew, what a week at MDA camp! We arrived fashionably late, as I told everyone, but certainly better than not at all. It was really incredibly hot until Thursday when it cooled down a little and by Friday we were freezing. What is up with this weather? What a few days it has been. I've been getting ready to go volunteer at MDA camp, but got a call Wednesday morning saying a certain somebody didn't pass a background check (not me!) and therefore was not allowed to go with me.
