Ahhh! [Bonnie screams out loud when someone comes up behind her and grabs her. So not cool whoever you are.

She turns around to see who scared her, an angry look on her face.]

Are you kidding me?! [Head smack!] Seriously, don't do that again!

Ow. [ James rubs the back of his head, one eye open and one eye closed. She really has a good slapping hand! He hasn't been hit like that since bloody Lily Evans.

If his heart skips a beat at the name, it's because Bonnie scared him.

Hang on a moment. If she can hit him, that must mean - ]

Wait, you can see me?

[He deserved it >:(]

Yeah, I can see you. What the heck kinda question is that to ask after what you just did?

He's gaping like a fish for a few seconds. Has no one noticed his absence? Seen things move? Thought they placed something to their left but found it on their right?

He was losing his touch. ]

I've been invisible!

[ He says it with such a mixture of happiness and exasperation. His younger self would have loved this. ]

[Hermione was on her way to the kitchen when James jumps out at her. She jumps at the noise]

Ohhh! James, you startled me!

[ He grins widely, and places his hands in his pockets as though he didn't act like a child just a few seconds ago. ] Hello, Hermione. I didn't mean to startle you. [ Except the grin on his face says otherwise. ]

You heading to the kitchen? [ He wonders if half the stuff he's moved in there is still where he's hidden it. Plates in the fridge, serviettes in the microwave. What fun he has had. ]

[frowns at him for a moment] Yes, I am. Would you like to come along?

If you wouldn't mind the company. Being invisible has left me starving to be able to see my masterpiece in the kitchen.

[ Whether James is visible when he does this or not makes no difference to Duke.

What does happen is a strangled startled noise as Duke freezes up at the sudden contact to his shoulders and the sudden, rather unfamiliar, voice behind him.

And there went the books he was holding onto, thumping to the floor. ]

[ James does feel bad when he drops his books and leans down to pick them up. And finds that he is able to pick them up! ]

I didn't mean to startle you - [ That badly. And let's go for an exaggeration: ] - Did you break anything?

....... Should I have broken something? [ He can hear someone moving about and... can't tell what's going on. Sometimes he really hates this castle.

So if Duke accidentally knocks his head into James' while trying to join him in picking up books, it's because he can't see. Which makes questions of why he's got books if he can't see... ]

[ Headbanging. Ow. ] Ow. I know I definitely broke something then. You want some help?

Dude! [Henry jumps, dropping his tablet which slides along the floor. He quickly runs to grab it then sits down against the wall.] That was so uncool!

Uncool? [ He frowns to himself. ] But I was invisible! How is that not - [ airquotes, since he is ancient and doesn't understand some of the slang ] - "cool"? - [ /airquotes ]

Oh. Being invisible is very cool. Scaring me into dropping my tablet was uncool!
