Suzaku had been one of the lucky ones to have discovered the problem with filters before posting himself. While he felt guilty about reading Allen's entry like that, it was more surprise than anything when he found himself agreeing with what was written.

And later on, he found that another person had the same problems he did. After all, how often was it you found another person who's problems with friends mirrored yours so closely? So he had taken a break from reading the journal (it was starting to become depressing, and he wondered idly if this was what Mao's Geass must have felt like) and had gone to the shooting range for a few hours.

He'd lost track of time, but on his way back to the castle, a blot of orange caught his attention.

"Hello."

The sudden voice startled him and Naruto nearly fell forward from tired knees, but he kept straight somehow and turned in his place, seeing a boy he had never met before.

"Um... hey!" He said awkwardly, wondering why he was being greeted but didn't mind, really. Naruto was a social person and always willing to make new friends. Hopefully he wasn't one of those creeps that seemed to be finding him so often these days. Like that "Christine" girl...

With his jacket flung over one shoulder, he offered the other a blinding grin. "Do I know you?"

Speeding up a bit to catch up with the other Suzaku shook his head at the question.

"No, I was just heading back from the shooting range," he pointed behind him towards the general direction of the range, "I don't normally come across people on my way back...."

Suzaku smiled back at Naruto. The ninja wasn't the only person who could fake happiness for the sake of others after all. "I'm Suzaku, nice to meet you."

Naruto vaguely wondered what a shooting range was, never having heard of one or known of guns to understand, but it was his name that distracted him even more. He had just spoken with someone named Suzaku in the journals a few hours ago, and either this was a weird coincidence or there was more than one person with that name around. ... Which still would have been a weird coincidence.

His face suddenly looked startled but he smiled softer immediately, reaching a hand out to shake the other's. "I'm Naruto," he said without mentioning that he remembered him, wondering if Suzaku would, himself. He had said something about feeling similarities between the two, so Naruto was extremely interested as to why.
