Lelouch was in trouble. Well it was more semi-trouble than full blown trouble. The moment Lelouch had noticed others in the kitchen, he had automatically put his hand up to cover his left eye, hiding the permenently activated Geass Sigil. It wasn't that he was worried he'd order someone to do something stupid; it was more a case of he didn't want everyone knowing about it. And thus Lelouch had a problem. Covering his left eye had left the teen completely blind. His payment for Paradisa had been the sight in his good eye.

It was easilly solved. Lelouch had managed to not only dodge every table and chair in the kitchen, but also make sure his sister was eating. Everything was going fine until he felt himself being dragged away by Suzaku into the hallway.

Lelouch kept his hand over his eye, trying to look like he was idly rubbing at it.

" Nothing is wrong. Why do you ask?"

"You look like you've been having problems with your eye. You haven't moved your hand since I got there."

The castle took strange things, but most of them normally had a reason behind it. Normally. Some he's still wondering about, but figuring out these types of questions had always been Lelouch's forte, not his own.

... He thoughts were starting to wander off again.

"What's wrong?"

Curse Suzaku. Curse him for paying more attention than most people. Lelouch's mind raced. Even if it had meant cutting himself off and only ever speaking to C.C and Nunnally face to face, it was fine by him. Lelouch wasn't stupid. He knew there were people in Paradisa who'd have no problem trying to get his "attention" once they'd found out about his Geass. Putting up with Mao was vexing enough as it was. The fact that they'd never make him their target but would aim for Nunnally was good enough reason to keep it under wraps.

"Ohy eye? I think I got something in it when I set fire to that frying pan..." Lelouch rubbed at it again. "It should be fine in a bit though."

Lamest. Excuse. Ever.

Suzaku sighed.

Of course he'd pay more attention if it was his friend that was having problems. Suzaku wanted to help, that's all... If Lelouch didn't want to tell him though, he'd try to refrain from asking too much.

Then again...

"... Lelouch, if it's something from the frying pan, then we should at least get you to the clinic."
