What: Suzaku's taking Cagalli out to dinner as an apology for worrying her the other day.

Right after his first knock, the door opened and Cagalli stepped out and closed the door, but not before being followed out by her dalmatian puppy, who, upon seeing Suzaku, happily wagged his tail and flipped over on his back, demanding belly rubs.

Scowling, the blonde opened the door again and pointed into the room. "In now," she said sternly. "I have someplace to go. You don't get to come this time."

The dog simply wagged his tail again, which resulted in an exasperated sigh from his mistress. "Sorry about this, Suzaku. We don't normally get company. It must be exciting for him."

Suzaku was about to say a greeting, but the appearance of Cagalli's puppy stopped him. He couldn't help but laugh a bit at it's demands for attention.

"It's fine. Even if I'm more of a cat person," kneeling down, Suzaku proceeded to give the puppy a belly rub.

"At least the dogs don't bite me as much as the cats do."

Which was true, though if his experience during the Duck Pond War a while back was any indication, chances were he was going to get bitten by a dog eventually anyway.

Shaking her head, Cagalli proceeded to scoop the puppy up after the belly rub had ended and shoveled him into the room. "Stay there, Knight. I'll be back soon," she said as she closed the door behind the dog.

She turned back to Suzaku and shrugged. "I'm ready now, I guess. Did you have a specific place in mind, or did you just want to wander?"

Smiling lightly, Suzaku shook his head.

"I haven't been in town for a while, so I'm not sure what's available there."

He paused briefly, before giving a formal bow.

"And is there anywhere you'd prefer to go, Cagalli-san, or would you like to wander around and see what the town has to offer?"

She opened her mouth the answer him, but stopped, taken aback by the bow.

"S-stop it. You're making it to much like home when you do that," she said a bit unnerved. "And just call me Cagalli."

"... Please," she added quickly. "As for the town, I think just wandering until we find some place would work best."

And to think, he only wanted to make them laugh.

"Of course," standing up again, Suzaku nodded. "Wandering the town it is then."

He turned and began walking towards the stairs again. "Coming?"
