Between the Christmas shenanigans, seeing his parents alive and well, and the silly costume the castle had left him, Matt has a lot he's thinking about. Most of all though, he was thinking about the conversation he'd had with Elektra

[And here's Matt at your door, dressed in one of his nicer lawyer suits, with a heavy winter coat over it. He gives Ukitake a smile before crossing the threshold.]

I'm sorry we haven't had a chance to get together sooner. Been absolutely crazy these last few months, hasn't it?

[Stepping back to allow Matt in, a little curious as to what he could want, he smiles in welcome.]

It usually has been. One of the more unfortunate things about living here.

[He shucks his big overcoat, draping it over a chair nearby.]

I'm starting to notice that. It could be worse, I'm sure.

[Matt stops, focusing on his senses, allowing the deluge of smells and sounds that permeate the store to wash over him. He was already starting to pick out some of the individual flavorings and types of sugar at work here, it was a little overwhelming.]

Does anyone seriously still believe that? I'm pretty sure I've made enough of a public spectacle of myself for people to realize I'm a bit more than just a blind lawyer.

The costume's still a secret, though. I'll take that one to my grave.

I suppose. With as many people as there are crammed in here, it's a wonder that anyone notices anything that happens around here. I know I have a hell of a time sorting through it all.

I know, but it's sort of a costumed vigilante thing. Unless you get to be friends like Pete and myself, most "heroes" like to keep their secret identities...you know, "secret". Comes with the job.

Not exactly. It's a logo for a business I'm thinking of starting up.

Honestly? It was kind of a stupid idea. I'm brainstorming ideas for a logo for a business I'm thinking of starting in town.
