He snaps his fingers and Dean thinks about Cas saving him, Sam and Bobby at that demon’s lair (Ellsworth, the name was Ellsworth), he thinks about that fucking stupid Superman reference that made them all understand, and a moment later there’s sunlight creeping from the windows, Cas is smiling at him and he seems so pleased to having gotten one reference right, and Dean knows that Sam and Bobby haven’t missed the clue

This, THIS RIGHT HERE, is beautiful! I love how desperate and alone Dean is (SAMMMMMM OH GOD *SOBBING*), but that he finally realizes his and Cas's mistakes. That he knew exactly when to go back, when it wouldn't have been too late to save Cas and Sam and all of them, just...MY HEART.
I melted right along with Cas when he finally hugged Dean back. ;___; I love that moment, that it's tender and tense all at once.
WHY DIDN'T THIS HAPPEN IN CANON? ALL CAS NEEDED WAS A HUG DAMMIT. *SOBBING*

This is lovely, lovely, lovely. It really does seem like something Cas would do, jump ahead in time to make sure he's on the right path. And that giving Dean a happy life, even if it's without him, just... ;___; MY HEART.
I really really like this line: Castiel’s eyes drop to Dean’s lips and he feels a sudden, foolish impulse to kiss him. He’s felt it before, many times, but he’s always pushed it away, told himself he wasn’t allowed to want such things. It just echoes of so many lost moments and might-have-been's. And then of course Dean has to say “Why didn’t you do that when I was twenty years younger and you were still alive, huh?” And I just want to shake him and scream YOU COULD HAVE KISSED HIM BACK THEN TOO YOU IDIOT.
Never apologize for the angst, dear. These two are just beautiful here, achey and beautiful.

There are easier ways to slip through time, to unhinge it, than with the wheel. Daniel Faraday’s work sparked a revolution after his disappearance. Whispers of the mad man gave way to curiosity, to praise, to advancement.

Oh my god. OH MY GOD. YOU JUST MADE ME CRY. ;____;
I just, I just...this is so perfect. I love how Richard will do anything to change what happened to Miles (which, okay, I don't need my heart or anything) even if it means changing everything. All the interactions with Hurley were just perfect. Richard saying “He’s not with me, so he’s not okay,” and Miles begging Hurley to stop him. And Hurley of course being all-knowing and awesome.
And all the little flashes of them together are SO CUTE. Them playing "I Never" and lounging around in bed, and Miles being all flirty and teasing, just AHHHHH. So cute. Which makes the heartache hurt that much more
And and THE SCENE WITH JACOB. RICHARD TELLS HIM EVERYTHING. AND THIS: but mostly it’s a love story. Because these two deserve the epic love story that the main characters got, and it's perfect.

I just, I just...this is so perfect. I love how Richard will do anything to change what happened to Miles (which, okay, I don't need my heart or anything) even if it means changing everything.
