Alas, it's not as good as that...

Karen has neither the confidence nor, quite frankly, the strength to face a trip halfway 'round the world.

However . . . There is still a great deal of goodness to be had!

FDQ and the volunteer team are mounting an expedition - a very VOLKS-centric adventure to the Heian capitol. It's gonna be - soo fantastic!

You know I'll be there with bells on!!!! I'm just sooo pleased to be part of the team. It's going to be awesome!
I finally told my boss. I really wanted to wait till I could give her all the details - but she was really cool about. I just told her the MOST time I'd need and am hoping I can take less. Now that THAT's been taken care of - I'm really beginning to get excited about it.
