SG15 is awesome, although Col Dixon is batshit crazy. He has only one plan - which never works, but the team always escape because he never leaves home without a couple of grenades tucked down his pants!

I think there were several authors who wrote about the SG15 team, but DVS is the one I have on my kindle.

The same author did a hysterical X-files crossover, where Mulder is John's bunny boiler ex-boyfriend.
