If they had retained their Hearts it was likely Zexion's enthusiasm would have been infectious, as it had been back when they were more than shades of existence. For the time being, however, Lexaeus would have to content himself with the memory of triumph, knowing one more obstacle to their end goal was soon to be removed.

Stepping out of the portal behind Zexion, the larger Nobody stood back and crossed his arms. This triumph was Zexion's, he was merely there to provide support.

Their arrival had been more than unexpected, but Xemnas merely rose a brow as he glances over to them, laying aside the leaflets of data he had been reading through. He eyes them carefully; strange, their presence. He had believed their duties had been keeping well enough - anything regarding results hardly needed to be discussed face-to-face.

So, why?

"Number V, VI." He looks between the two of them briefly, then turns to face them fully. "Urgent matters?" he asks, because what else is there?

As far as the results of labs were concerned, things were as Xemnas assumed. Nothing there was out of the ordinary, and thus, it was not anything to concern the Superior over. It was somewhere else that the matters that concerned him lay.

"Urgent indeed," Zexion answered, conveniently ignoring the fact that he had spent quite some time laying down the groundwork of what he now brought before Xemnas. With any luck all present would know exactly how he worked.

"There is a traitor among our number."

Lexaeus remained silent while the Superior spoke, but recognizing his cue from Zexion's words nodded and said, "What he says is true. Zexion has gathered evidence of a traitor, and I feel his conclusion is correct."

That causes him to pause, narrowing his eyes as thinks over their words. "You are certain?" he carefully asks, voice clipped. Surely they knew what trouble a traitor in their midst would cause them?

Organization XIII has no toleration towards traitors.
