is there something in your church you're involved in that you can pursue and expand??

I wish there was, but I don't even have a church home here in Dubuque. It's mostly catholic, and the churches I've gone to so far (out of the 12 i've tried in the last 4 months), have had members come up to me and tell me how i need to buy insurance and so ons from them b/c where i work doesn't pay enough and treats their employees like crap when i've worked for the company for over 4 yrs total..heh

So yeah. But we'll see :) It's all in god's hands. it depends on what happens if Missy gets a teaching job somewhere, and on some other things i really can't talk about publically, but would love extra prayer and support about. It is a HUGE opportunity in the ministry, but who knows if i could even get it, and if i would be good at it. so it's all in God's hands. so prayer and thoughts would be nice :)

well, you certainly have my prayers that this works out for you and for your life and happiness all around! I have a friend who is/was very involved in music ministry in his church. Maybe you can talk to him? Catholic doesn't lend its hand to ministry in any way shape or form unfortunately, sigh, I know, its what I've been raised. But my friend Nafty's church is awesome in its ministries. This is one of those times when my online friends being so far away really bites. He'd love to get you involved!!!

i've always been very involved in my church everywhere else but here. and lately i've just been watching and listening to my old church from Indianapolis online. It just stinks not finding a church locally...
