He’s got it in his head that loving Nina would hurt them somehow. You can’t hurt the dead though, not really. And he can’t stop loving her either.

GUH. IT WAS AT THIS POINT THAT I STARTED TO LOSE MY SHIT. Only in a soap opera could such turmoil exist and poor Ronan has it in spades.

I loved this whole fic so much. It's so hard for me not to fall in love with Ronan. I wish it wasn't the case because they never keep him around for long, but I think you did a beautiful job of making that a natural part of who he is. Wonderful job, sweetie!

Aww, thank you so much! It felt weird writing soap fic, but RONAN, you know? I honestly think the show has created a really terrific nuanced character where he's concerned. They do a lot of things to drive me crazy, but Ronan they've always gotten right.
