I definitely agree with Of Music - gosh, I remember reading that a long time ago, and I gave up because it is not finished and I didn't want to get through the torture of an unfinished fic... But very recently it's updated again and the notification pops up in my ffn app! Gosh that leads me to a lawlight fic reading frenzy - after years of not reading any DN fic - and here I am, trying to find DN fic recs... Hahahha

Good list by the way. I'm very proud to say that I've read most of them... (does this mean were running out of good fics? Sad face)

omg I know Of Music had a few new chapters recently and I was so happy about that!
And I feel like I'm almost running out of good fics sadly enough though there is still new ones popping up! I haven't absolutely finished those rec list - though I'm sure you already checked the part II of the my L/Light rec - maybe a part III will appear!)

Yeah I'm actually surprised that there's some new ones - I randomly ran across Primitive Liars by Niah, who is an old player (I feel like that author is like gandalf, disappearing in Grey robes and then coming back all in white with new power to bedazzle readers lol) and after that I noticed there are more activities. I thought maybe thar fic is the trigger - because silly me I don't even know there's a DN drama playing recently! Hahahha. (I just found out yesterday, in fact, after browsing the lawlight tag on tumblr...)

But anyways I actually checked your second part of the list first hahaa! I was very desperate, so I googled "death note fic recs" and have it sorted so that only posts made in last two years pop up. Your second rec is on page 2 of Google :D

AND YES DEFINITELY MAKE A PART THREE, or maybe a fic yourself *winkwink*

such a late answers gosh (but life got crazy) and I've been wanting to write about those two for years but they're also such complicated character to tackled that haven't gone there yet (I'm also terrible at finishing myself - I have two wip on the table already in other fandoms haha)

And yes Primitive Liars was such an nice little surprise, so glad that writers went back in the game for that one!
