Yawning magnificently, he sighed and reached to rub his eyes with his thumb and forefinger.

"Thought 'bout those, but would b' kinda expensive..." he muttered apologetically and then lapsed into a silence again.
They were both tired and it was past time to go to bed. If he was going to make the suggestion, he should make it now. Who knew when the opportunity would come again.
