I'm like the Befana. She arrived twelve days after the Wise Men did, and that's how her day is celebrated every year. For the second year running, I went to the Birmingham Hippodrome panto, following the crabbyoldbats there, one day later. I hate panto. For these reasons as cited, pretty much. No narrative logic, no storytelling values. What is it, the last gasp of variety in a shoddy fix-up? Hate hate hate.

Now call me an old grouch. I'm L, y'know...

Last year's panto was better because it had plot. They're capable of having them. This one was just... very deficient in that respect.

I'm confused if the show was in the Hippodrome does that mean it was performed entirely by horses (pantomime horses?) ;)
