Ugh. First of all HELLO NEW FRIENDS! I will do a proper "this-is-me" post, but this will not be it. I have some political angst to get rid of before I can sleep properly.

I suppose so. Sometimes I just get so frustrated at partisan politics that I can't help a little rant!

At least the position only lasts for 2 years. It will be interesting to see where we are as a country at that time.

Ah, but usually the incumbent has a huge advantage although I don't know if that's going to be true in future. We'll see.

We elected a very conservative governor this past election. I'm not looking forward to seeing how badly he messes up the state. It's bad enough but the last couple of Republican governors really overspent, and gave tax breaks to the rich and we are now hugely in debt. And our last governor, a Democrat, did try but it was like building on sand and he wasn't a very good speaker so he lost reelection (I wasn't happy with him either).
