Who: Dawson & Kieran
What: Sparring
When: January 22nd, 2 PM.
Where: Gym

The entire day she'd spent in this gym. First doing warm ups and her own training, and then she'd taken to training with others as Wyatt Cain had asked on the night of the ball. Kieran held back at first with those who she didn't expect to be strong, but was surprised when they ( Read more... )

Okay, it fucking hurt to move. Late night visitors were not as nearly fucking fun as they sounded, not in the godsdamned least. Fuck them and everyone who godsdamned fucking looked like them. Shit. Dawson had had to go visit the fucking bitch of a Healer once they had let him out of his cell. Well, not so fucking much 'go' as 'was dragged by a random fucking guard' before they would take him to Kieran ( ... )

Apparently not. She knew it was him because of the way he spoke, he always had to have something in his sentence that was a curse word. It was just how he was. "Problems, Dawson?" Kieran questioned from her position, lifting her head enough to glance in his direction but remained on the floor. Why should she get up to greet him, he hated her. She hated him too, sometimes. Most times.

The only reason he was here, she ventured, was because that was the rules of his release. Ah that she could have some fun with. In any case she decided to finally stand, her legs had been stretched and she now had a visitor. One who she wanted to know what he wanted. Well, aside from the typical things that he wanted. Why wouldn't he just take the freedom? Assuming they offered it to him. Yes he'd be escorted to IX but after that he could return to the O.Z and do what he wanted.

Interesting. She'd have to ask him about it.

Dawson tilted his head, were humans even supposed to be fucking able to godsdamned get in that fucking position? It was just not fucking natural, not godsdamned natural at all. Then again...it was jaw-fucking-droppingly hot, that she was able to bend like that. Almost a fucking incentive to stick the fuck around longer than his newly fucking formed godsdamned plan demanded ( ... )

A good time? His definition and everyone else's differed apparently. "I did Wyatt a favour." Kieran said as she pulled herself up off of the ground and brushed her hands off before noting that the guard had left Dawson. Poor thing must be just crawling up the walls in his frustration. Too bad.

"They're going to release you soon, if my Intel is correct. You'll be taken to IX but after that you can just disappear. Might want to go to EV, it's a Kingdom. They dis value women just as much as you." With a false smile she turned around to the water bottle on the ground, snatching it up. "I suggest, that with your freedom you find as many whores as you can. Celebrate."

It wasn't like they'd be seeing each other again after he was taken to IX, so why should she try to cramp his style?

Dawson was careful to twist his grip slightly on the ends of the rods he was holding, trying to find the balance of the damned things before she whacked him over the head in his ignorance. He would not put it past her in the fucking slightest, not in the least. She raised an eyebrow, at his pain, and he desperately wished for a moment that he held the comfort of cold steel in his hands instead of the odd weight of the fighting sticks. Not that he would kill her, not fucking now anyway, maybe just wing her. A couple of times ( ... )

So at least he was learning something or other, no matter how badly she'd kick his ass he was at least figuring out that his size might be of help. Perhaps not to this specific fight, but then again he was use to a gun in his hand and firing from several feet to hundreds of yards away, giving his opponent no chance to retaliate. Not the case here.

As he swung low she lowered herself nearly to the ground to avoid being hit, and took steps towards his side, her batons twirling in her hands as she moved towards him, going for his wrists. Just because he had no hope of winning here didn't mean she should go easy on him.

He'd never learn then, that he wasn't the best. Just like Zero never did, and probably never would. Dawson could very well learn to understand that just because he had a weapon didn't mean he was the victor.
