So, I decided to go to the graduate reunion for [swathe of some 15 or so yearsworth of graduands] at my [place of obtaining first degree].

So not exactly Gaudy Night, then. At least noone got murdered. I went to one of my high school reunions, and even though I was extremely happy there and remember my last two years of school very fondly, I found the occasion forced and wierd. The people whom I would have liked to see were not there for the most part and half the ones who were I did not recognize or saw through some kind of haze of fx aging makeup...
