Thanks:) That was the first time I've had any luck with the glass effect, and the 2IC guys googles came out perfectly, none of the other lenses are quite as good. But you cant see those, so lts all pretend they are perfect too:D
Was my first time with wetblending on their greatcats as well, so I'm pretty pleased.
The method I ended up using was kinda basic. I add water directly from the tap to my pots (so its nice and wet, hard to quantify), and then have three brushes, and a clean water cup.
first apply a line of dark color (codex grey in this case), through brush into water cup.
apply fortress grey on highlight spot, throw brush into water cup.
take clean brush, dip in water cup, lick excess water off, wiggle it between the two colors:D
It took a few goes to get it right, and it seems to dry fast enough that if I didnt like it, I could go over it again soon.
The P3 paints interest me. I already have a drawr full of gw paints, and I dont really like then. I'm sick of having to use my sculpting tool to get the damn lids open;) that being said, I dont like the lids P3 have either. Given the choice, I'd like a vallejo like dropper on P3. that way its easy to remember specific mixes (ie, 2 drops blood red to 3 drops red ink to 1 drop chestnut wash) rather than 'a few brushfulls of this anda few more of that-which I can never remmeber
