Glasses and no glasses

I noticed this thing about glasses: they seem to have become a normal part of my face. I've been wearing them for ages, all the time. But sometimes I was taking them off when had a photo taken of me, and also sometimes now I'm wearing contacts. I look so much different! And everybody keep telling me that too

I think Wikipedia even lists it as a fetish...

Though I can't understand what they find in it...

On the other hand, I myself sometimes consider glasses be a cute detail in guy, but it's different;-)))

I used to have the same thoughts. When I was younger and vainer than I currently am now, I used to only where contacts when I went out, or if a photo was taken of me I would always take my glasses off.

Now I really don't care if I am wearing my glasses or not. But I still get told if I am wearing contacts that I don't look like me. :)

When I was younger and vainer than I currently am now I was always told by my family that I shouldn't be concerned about my appearance, because I have intelligence, and that is much more important. So I always was only wearing glasses and was absolutely sure that I am totally unattractive. And I pretty much was, though it had nothing to do with glasses.

When I've finally grown up (just very recently) and became attractive, I found glasses indeed don't make much difference. So I don't really care now.

But without them some people say I look much more beautiful and so I should wear contacts all the time. Pf. I see no reasons for it.
