OH NO OH WOW part of me's like DO IT IT'S CHARLES LENOX GET YOUR EYES ON THAT ASAP and the other part is all sad that I'll be two months behind if you do. Well, just put spoilers behind a spoiler cut if you do read it, YOU KNOW THE DRILL

(this just made me realize how close we are to the end of the year and how much I haven't done etc., but at the same time how close we are to THE INHERITANCE IN MY HANDS, WOOO)

so many mixed feelings, hah.

I have resisted so far! We'll see how long I continue to resist. Perhaps I will keep it in reserve, like, if I'm having a particular stressful day after my move, then it will be time to try requesting The Inheritance... and if not, then I will get it when it comes to the library.

Hahah, I saw 'The Inheritance' too, and thought about requesting it! But no - I have to read book one first, which has been sitting on my shelf for ages waiting for me to get around to it.

There are some mystery series where I would say "Go ahead, go for it!" because there's no continuity to speak of, but the Charles Lenox mysteries are not one of them. Probably best to start at the beginning.
