You have no idea how much it hurts to have your faith broken. You are so dreadful for smothering out that flame that burned in me. Now I am lost, without direction, without a creed or a god or church. I haven't much of a concept of what I believe in these days. I do not know if there is such a thing as universal love. Yes, they allow bastards in 'the clergy', historically speaking. ^^ Orphans too. Abandoned children.

Also I am currently a blend of Buddhism and other things. Interesting combination, it is.

If brooding asocial druid spell-casting rangers didn't exist long ago, I reasoned, I'd so have been some kind of cleric archivist, toiling over words and stories and records. Mmm, ideas.

(I've had that talk with friends before once upon a time, and that's what we came up with. I'm sticking with it.)

What I'm afraid of is never being able to find another who believes what I believe... who accepts my way of life and existence. I fear not having a direction or a higher goal or purpose. An individualist outlook always leaves someone with the risk of being alone. If I can't be a part of a collective, I at least want to know I'm not the only person on my frame of the Viewfinder.

Why do you identify as you do? What does it mean?
