last year, I slipped from my 2019 year end mix right into comfort music because 2020 and didn't really find much new music to listen to.

SO!

Please tell me some NEW ARTISTS I should be listening to or at least artists that are still making music in 2021 that I should listen to.

I think IDKHow and Saint Motel have come up in my Spotify suggestions and I like what I've heard so I'm going to throw some of their stuff in the mix. never heard of Mini Mansions so adding them too! Thanks!!

Oh awesome, I hope you like them! Mini Mansions opened for Arctic Monkeys when I saw them, I think that's the only time I've actually gotten into the music of an opening band before, haha.

I love music, and pretty much always have it playing during the day...but then I get antsy when people want suggestions cause I'm like...WHAT IF THEY HATE IT?! hahah

LOL I promise I won't tell you if I hate it. (Also I do like Hozier! I always forget about him though, like I will listen to his albums when they come out on Spotify then move on and forget to add him to my mixes).

I'm more of a reader/watcher than a listener to music. I mean I get hooked on music from movies/shows or fanvids as much as or more than by a radio or streaming service. The best I can do is name some artists that I happen to have been listening to lately. I've been listening to --

Ruelle, Damien Rice*, Carbon Leaf, OneRepublic, Fun., and Imagine Dragons**.

*I was gonna say Hozier, but since someone beat me to it I've named another Irishman with a lovely voice.
**My first thought for the last band was Bastille, but then I remembered you listed them as a favorite.

I saw Carbon Leaf back when they opened for David Gray! I think I might even have the CD somewhere...I should look them up!
