Challenge #4

In your own space, create some goals.

In 2020, I dived into the world of tabletop and roleplaying games headfirst but I haven’t actually played that many yet though, so for 2021, I want to play the games I bought last year.

Good luck with your goals!

I think one of my fandom goals is similar to yours and watching some of my movie/tv collection. I've owned so many for years and years and never watched them. Also, I'm pretty fanatical about wanting Blu-rays with commentary tracks, and yet I rarely listen to them in full. I want to do that as well.

I also need to start watching TV again. It's not that I don't watch TV, but I'm always online at the same time and some shows I refuse to watch that way, so I end up not watching them at all. There are shows that I never missed like Superstore, This is Us, The Good Doctor, etc that I never missed - and never planned to stop watching - and I'm behind at least two seasons on them now. There are also new shows like Cobra Kai and Sex Education my husband wants to start and I need to make time for those.

LOL yes, I love a good commentary but they really are something I have to sit down and focus on because I need to know what they are talking about. Last one I watched as The Last Jedi and it was great (though I almost want Johnson to go back and do another one post-release to tell off the fanjerks)

I did not like Cobra Kai LOL. Tim wanted to watch it, we got through the the first season? And I was done. Too much of that "nostalgia humor" that just rubs me the wrong way.

I keep meaning to watch 'Superstore'!!! I've seen a few episodes and they all cracked me up.

I'm actually in the process on aswering this snowflake challange myself, but I don't actually have any fandom goals I have been thinking of. I do have a goal to read 50 books, but I have already talked of that, so I want to be able to speak of something that won't be a repeat.

Any experience with games for just one player? I was meant to buy a lord of the tings solo card game last year, but I didn't when I missed the sale. I've been playing more boardgames recently too. I'm lucky that my nephew and his girlfriend often invites me along :)

I'm interpreting "fandom" pretty broadly, as you can see, just as things I love. :) I don't really do fanfic or make graphics anymore.

YES! I have a few games that one single player modes. 'Set A Watch' is a lot of fun, you play as 4 adventurers fighting a horde of monsters outside the town, rolling dice for your attacks.

'Villagers' and 'Wingspan' both have single player modes included in the instructions.

If you're looking for some writing inspiration, there are TON of RPGs that are single player. I just bought 'Thousand Year Old Vampire' and backed one on Kickstarter that I plan on blogging my game of for the heck of it. Itch.io has SO MANY inexpensive games you can download and play. I'm always recommending Ex Novo to friends, you build a city and write it's story.

I've played Azul before. It's really fun. :-)

Good luck with your goals! I have SO MANY books on my to-read list.

Azul was the game I got for my birthday in March and I LOVE it. It is just so pretty!!!! I haven't tried any of the sequels, though I have heard mixed reviews.

My TBR list is insane and then I just pick books up while I'm at work instead of reading them. I just hope I can actually FOCUS soon and read some prose. I did make it through a chapter of 'Just Mercy' last night without my brain shouting in the background. Maybe that means things are getting better...or I have decided world chaos is the new normal.

Thankfully, I haven't had any trouble reading, but it's a common problem these days. *hugs*

... many of them I saw in the theater, LOVED, bought the disc…and then never bothered watching again. I do that all the time. Most of my DVDs are still in the original packaging. Oops.

There's a Firefly game???

I usually rip the packaging off to get the Digital code out before it expires then never watch the movie again LOL.

There are TWO Firefly games (at least) and I own them both and have not played either. The one in the picture is kind of complicated and I need a group of patient friends to play with me so we can learn. It has minis too!!! (I love my husband but his patience for learning along with me is low, he wants me to know how to play before we start)

Thank you for reading. :)
