I spent my entire childhood wanting to BE Indiana Jones. I had all three on VHS and even got into Young Indiana Jones. Not even joking when I say that's some of the reason I became a history major XD

SAME! I have the Young Indy's on DVD though I'm a little scared to go back and watch them LOL. But I loved all of Indy's adventures. I'd say 80% of what I know about WWI is from Young Indy (and the other 20% from library comic books)

I remember watching the Indiana Jones movies with my Dad, and it was definitely a lot of fun watching with him :)

My junior high history teacher put on an episode of Young Indiana Jones one time, and I remember it being very enjoyable.

I have the Young Indy's on DVD, I should watch those again. I LOVED them as a kid, had a HUGE crush on Sean Patrick Flannery LOL.

My Dad's default Halloween costume was Indiana Jones - he had a fedora and a whip. :)

They were family movies in my household. We still quote them.

I think we're about the same age, and have roughly the same experiences (including seeing this in the theater!) I just remember really liking the relationship between Indy and his Dad. I already knew Sean Connery through Bond, so I thought him being Henry Senior was perfect! :-)

Yeah, Connery was the perfect fit. It could have been so bad, but him and Ford had great chemistry together.
