For the record: not all girls do this! The idea of planning a wedding fills me with nothing but terror and the desire to flee in the other direction very fast.

Agreed! The actual planning fills me with the same feeling! ^_~

I meant more the casual collecting of "Hmm. This is nice. I might like that . . ." You gonna deny you do that? :3

Actually, yes, I am going to deny it! :D Don't want a wedding dress, don't want flowers, don't want to pick a design theme, don't watch wedding shows. (I like and fantasize about dresses! But not wedding dresses.)

This I will concur on! Dresses are pretty! I think this is the basis for the posit as a whole: Girls like to fantasize about pretties, be it whatever strikes their fancy!

And you are a stronger than I, and you have proven my theory is bullshit. Thank you! XD

I did a little planing at one point when i was pregers with Nick but other than that I ignored the whole process. And when I was married I had ten days to pull it together, the whole purpose of it to qualify for health insurance. Now that we have the perfect partner to our life we find ourselves wanting to give her the perfect wedding as a present and act of love. We will see if it ever comes to that. If she allows us to do it I want to throw her her idea of the best party ever!

I had never planned either, so when my husband did propose I was like, "Yay!" and then mother-in-law bombarded me with questions and I went crying because I had no idea about anything at all.
