A lot of the comments on this post make no sense in my personal opinion.

I would love a Survivor show where the players can get votes by the public to help them prolong their time as a survivor. I know this could never work because the show is not live, but all too often the winner is not who the general public wants to win. I think there needs to be some type of change in the game so the better player (both physically & socially) wins.

I just thought of a great idea! when they get down to the final 10 people, let the public start voting for the player they liked best that week and want to win. The catch, they can only vote for the people still in the game. Although, if 1 contestant makes it to the final 4 and gets voted out in the game, but was a fan favorite throughout the majority of the show, than that player could still win the general public prize of 500,000 dollars!!

What do you think about something like that?

The contestant with the most general public votes will be announced at the live season finale.

Or they could even make it to where survivors can be voted for each week, even at the very begenning of the show, but can still not be voted for any more once they are voted "off the island"
