Gee, well I'm happy Rod Nordland was able to make Libya's situation all about the United States while ignoring any and all context for why those in the Middle East might, you know, have some negative feelings there.

Americans and, for that matter, all Westerners are treated hereabouts with a warmth and gratitude rarely seen in any Muslim country - even those with 100,000 American troops - in probably half a century or more.

Seriously, what is this shit.

At least the satire is awesome.

...Yeah. This is part of the reason why I tend not to like the NYT reporters who deal with the Middle East in general. Got to love such satire.
