The republicans are giving him a hard time about this news. I think its good because we are still going to help out the Czech Republic and Poland. We are going to go with a new plan that doesn't involve the missile defense in Poland. I think its good because its not as expensive as the plan before. And now we are focusing on working things out with Russia which can be another positive thing. We are not going to let Poland be in a unsafe environment we know they rely on us and NATO. We just need to focus more on what going on through Iran and Afghanistan and what harms they can do and try to prevent it.

The Polish people were against deploying the original 'missile shield' to begin with; even though some of the politicians are disappointed, the U.S. is doing the right thing.

The best way to deflect a missile is to keep all sides from firing them in the first place.
