Kids pull pranks, that's what they do. There were plenty of solutions to this that could have not resulted in a dead teenager. The response should never be 'shoot first, ask questions later.' This is a response that is only possible because we're the only GD developed nation in the world that allows any Joe Schmo on the street to buy a gun with very few questions asked (if any). That's the real crime here. God bless America! :/

Over-reaction with the shooting people, oh yes.

But first degree murder? Pretty sure that dude didn't plan out shit, lbr here.
Also I don't understand the terrorism charge.

1.) I can't imagine a parent NOT expecting their children's high school friends to occasionally pull pranks. One just hopes no one does anything that causes damage or comes to harm.

2.) There's something terribly twisted in thinking that it is okay to pull out a gun and start firing it at people because they transgressed against one in some minor way. One's property, whether damaged or stolen, is not worth taking another's life. Property can be repaired or replaced; lives cannot.

Why do people feel entitled to commit acts of violence against others? Why do they think it's okay? I will never understand this thinking. You think your car is being vandalized, so you think it's okay to KILL the person? Things are more important than lives? How many lives have been ruined and/or traumatized by this senseless act? How many more times does it have to happen? People always start talking about their "rights". How about the right to live? So many questions, so few answers.
