Very good news! I can only hope such gains remain with the Democrats until November. Fivethirtyeight actually predicted a win for McCaskill in Missouri for the first time - yay!

Pretty much confirmed the Dems will keep the Senate and currently there's a shot at taking over the House but it's small and depends on turnout etc. If Romney keeps fucking up so massively or another Todd Akin type situation happens I think Speaker Pelosi might be back.

The Democrats’ chances of controlling the Senate have increased to 79 percent in the forecast, up from 70 percent on Tuesday.

Let's hope those numbers bear fruit.

Perhaps, just perhaps, some of the American voters are realizing that electing candidates devoted only to gridlocking the President has not helped this country one damn bit. Our jobs' forecasts! Our credit ratings! Please, can we start electing public servants and not just PoliticalPartyBots?
