Yeah, she would, especially the part of ending back up in Lima after achieving her Broadway dream only to throw it away on a gamble on a TV show a couple months later (and that old guy who was producing 'Funny Girl' did threaten to have her blacklisted if she did anything else that endangered his show after playing hooky to do that audition.)

Though someone ought to write a fic using that concept....
