Such great news! I originally read the story on yahoo and it amazed me how people think birth control is only used to prevent pregnancy. I brought this up in a comment and people legit thought I was stupid.

OTC would be great for those of us who can afford them, but I'm guessing having them Rx actually helps a lot of women get them covered by insurance who wouldn't otherwise. I had to buy a few packs of pills out of pocket before and they cost me $60.

One of the coolest things about this piece of legislation is that supposedly it will cover OTC forms of contraception (although I've yet to see details as to how).
