I like a teacher who gives you something to take home to think about besides homework.
Lily TomlinMy super-long-extra-epic Tuesday nights in which I have three classes in a row, from 3 to 7:40pm (and that's after morning German and hanging around the center all afternoon) wasn't half as bad yesterday. Of course, this may or may not be because I was ( Read more... )

In my World Religions class last year, my teacher had us post songs that we thought were religious and he made a playlist for class out of what people suggested. Someone posted 'Viva la Vida', and he put it on the playlist, even though every time it came on, he complained loudly that it was "about NOTHING" and that Coldplay is "whiny white guy music". He saw the religious references, but he maintained that it was a meaningless fluff song anyway.

I still like that song, though. :)

Well, this was more an excercise in listening comprehension. I just threw in the religious points because they're a bit blatant.

I love Bloomability and Sharon Creech in general. I haven't read those books in so long, even though the spines of my copies are well worn.

Your classes sound amazing though!

You know, I have this suspicion you chose your entire major and focus for the simple purpose of studying the defenestration of Prague as much as possible.

In any case, your classes sound wonderfully diverting.
